Greenlawns Terms & Conditions
1: Cancellation Policy: A deposit of £20.00 or 10% of the total booking fee will be payable at time of booking. If cancellation is made 72 hours or more prior to arrival, whole amount of deposit will be returned to guest. If cancellation is made with less than 72 hours notice and the room cannot be resold, the deposit will be kept by Greenlawns and the amount up to the costs of the first night also taken from the card. If the room is sold within those 72 hours, the deposit will be returned.
2: When an e-mail or telephone enquiry is made, it is the responsibility of the guest to contact us immediately to provide credit card details etc to confirm reservation. Rooms will not be held without this information. If no contact is made then do not assume the room has been held.
3: Greenlawns is a totally non-smoking house. Any guest found to be breaking our no-smoking rule will be asked to leave, regardless of time of day. If a guest is found to have been smoking in a room at checkout, a fee of £50.00 will be taken to cover cost of cleaning room and furnishings and a further nights costs, if the room is unusable will also be charged.
4: Check-in will normally be from 1600 – 1900. If any guest wishes to arrive outwith these times, please let us know when booking so arrangements can be made. If we are not notified of late or early arrivals, there is no guarantee that the room will either be ready to be occupied or still being held after 1900. We are a guesthouse and do not have 24-hour reception facilities.
5: Breakfast will normally be served 0800-0900 Monday-Saturday and 0900-1000 Sundays. If you require breakfast at another time, please request this when booking or at check-in. We will do all we can to accommodate, but cannot guarantee.
6: All meals are freshly prepared daily using local produce. A menu can be found on the dining page of our website.
7: Greenlawns has 2 ground floor en-suite rooms in which pets are allowed. If you wish to bring a well-behaved pet – please notify us of this when booking. We do not allow pets to overnight in any other of our rooms. Pets are the responsibility of their owners and any damage must be paid for at departure and any mess must be cleared up by the owners prior to departure.
8: We expect that all our guests will treat the premises (the house and grounds) and it’s contents with care and respect. Please be advised that guests are responsible for any damaged caused and/or missing items – the repair/replacement of which will be charged at cost.
